We look forward to seeing many of you at this new edition.

Join the webinar

The world of astronauts remains mysterious today. To give an insight into their daily lives and living environment, CNES, through its ESERO France office, is organising a launch webinar to present the details of the Mission X and Moon Camp educational projects to teachers. This will be an opportunity to find out about the project’s timeline, useful resources and events, and to ask the ESERO France team your questions.

This webinar will take place online on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Emails containing the link and login details will be sent to registered participants. The registration form is available below.

Mission X project

The European educational project Mission X aims to give young people an insight into the daily lives of astronauts, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles and combating malnutrition. By taking part in this project, students will carry out physical and scientific activities to prepare for their future mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). By completing one or more Mission X activities – available on the ESERO France website – participants will join a European project and receive a certificate of participation from the European Space Agency (ESA).

Moon Camp project

In February 2026, the Artemis II mission enabled four astronauts to orbit the Moon for the first time since the end of the Apollo missions in 1972. By the end of the decade, the Artemis mission is expected to enable humans to return to the Moon after more than 50 years of absence. The long-term objective is therefore to be able to carry out long-duration missions on the surface of our Moon. To this end, various space agencies are working on the design of future lunar bases.

In this context, the European Moon Camp project, organised by the European Space Agency and coordinated in France by CNES, invites students to imagine and build their own space base, on the Moon, Mars or beyond. To do this, each team is free to use the tools of their choice: 3D design, models, drawings, 3D printing… It’s up to them to imagine what the astronauts’ future home will look like!
