To celebrate the end of the Climate Detectives challenge, CNES and Cité de l’espace will welcome nearly 200 young researchers. The teams participating in the event will be invited to present their research to CNES experts, who will reward them for their many months of work.
The closing event will be divided into two parts. First, students will attend a scientific conference on Earth observation by satellites and take part in an activity related to satellites. The teams will also present their findings in the form of a scientific poster to CNES specialists and other teams. The second part of the day will be devoted to a visit to the Cité de l’Espace. The teams will then have free time to enjoy the Cité’s attractions, such as ‘Le Vaisseau Terre’ (Spaceship Earth), outdoor models and the planetarium.

Come present your achievements
The event will take place on Thursday, 21 May 2026, from 9 am to 6 pm (closing time of the Cité). The activities proposed by CNES will last approximately two and a half hours (the exact schedule is still to be confirmed internally). For the rest of the day, you will be free to enjoy the many activities offered by the Cité de l’espace.
Admission to the Cité is covered by CNES. Transport and meals will be at the expense of the classes. Picnic areas will be available at lunchtime. As places are limited, please fill in the form below as soon as possible if you wish to take part in the event.
